CONCERTS AND EVENTS - FIRST WEEKEND OF OCTOBER, 2026 This is a temporary page with concerts and events for the first weekend of October 2026. Full October listings and the fall site will be available next week.
Performances at The Packing House - Weekly performances at the Packing House on the mezzanine stage vary. The Packing House weekly performances take place on Friday and Saturday (except where otherwise noted). When multiple acts are noted on Saturday nights, generally one act is on the mezzanine stage at the Packing House and the other(s) are at the Unsung Brewery in the MAKE Building and/or at the Anaheim Brewery. October 3 - 13th Annual City of Artesia International Street Fair and Diversity Festival The event will take place from 3 - 10 p.m. on Pioneer Boulevard between 183rd and 187th Streets. Azusa Pacific University Performances - Performances take place in a variety of locations on the Azusa Pacific University campus. See individual events for location and performance times. Claremont Friday Nights Live - The Friday night concert series takes place through October at locations in Claremont Village. Regular performances are from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Village Square (VS), 101 North Indian Hill Boulevard, The Depot/CLMOA (TD), 200 W. 1st Street, and Shelton Park (SP), Bonita/Harvard. Performances at the Claremont Colleges - The following performances are presented by Pomona College and Scripps College of the Claremont Colleges (unless otherwise noted). Friday Noon Concert Series - The Friday Noon Concert Series is sponsored by the Departments of Music at Pomona and Scripps Colleges. October 3 - Rocktober 2026. - The Covina Rocktober event will take place from 5 - 9 p.m. in the Covina City Hall parking lot, 125 E. College Street. There will be live music by Coldplay USA (Coldplay Tribute) and DSB (Journey Tribute), a family fun zone with carnival-style games, a beer garden and food and craft vendors. Hour-long concerts will take place on the Artsakh Paseo in the downtown Arts and Entertainment District at 5 p.m. Seating is not provided. The Festival will take place at Saints Simon and Jude Church, 20444 Magnolia Street. Admission and entertainment are free; fee for rides, games, vendors. Hours are 5 - 10:30 p.m. Friday, 2 - 10:30 p.m. Saturday and noon - 9 p.m. Sunday. Friday entertainment will be Redneck Rodeo (Country), Saturday entertainment will be Flashback Heart Attack (80s) and Sunday entertainment will be Tijuana Dogs (Party Rock). Outdoor Music at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Outdoor music returns to the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Guests must be 18 or over. The Rock Yard is an amphitheater-style arena with two side-by-side stages, and admission is free. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is located at 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway. Two other series, Noches de Fuego on Wednesday and Sunday nights and Country Night on Thursday night, have now been moved inside to LIT. 21+ for entry to LIT. See additional details on website. Every Friday - La Puente Live. La Puente Live is an open-air market in downtown La Puente on Main Street. The event will take place from 6 - 10 p.m. every Friday and will include produce sales and live entertainment. Entertainment will be: October 2 - The Hoot and Nani. Laguna Beach Sunset Serenades - Concerts take place from 5:30 p.m. - sunset at the Rockpile Amphitheater at Heisler Park, Cliff Drive/Myrtle. Low-back beach chairs are encouraged. October 3 and 4 - Lake Arrowhead Oktoberfest. The Lake Arrowhead Oktoberfest will take place at Waterfront Park at the Lake Arrowhead Village (formerly Lollipop Park, see website for location). Hours are Saturdays from noon - 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon - 5 p.m. Admission is free, but there is a fee for table reservations and food. There is limited free seating at the back of the venue, and those seats are available on a first-come basis only. Parking is free and all ages are welcome. Information: www.lakearrowheadoktoberfest.com. LOS ANGELES - DOWNTOWN AND VICINITY October 1 - 4 - 53rd Los Angeles Korean Festival. The festival will take place over four days at Seoul International Park, 3250 San Marino Street. October 4 - Getty Center Programs. Ever Present: A Moveable Feast of No - No Wave Women with Adele Bertei. Adele Bertei opens her new memoir with a powerful assertion that No Wave - the multifaceted eruption of noise, image and ecstatic refusal that surged through late 1970s and early 1980s New York did not only include extraordinary women but was driven by them in ways rarely acknowledged. The event taking place from 3 - 9 p.m. the Getty Center campus. The program will feature the iconic women-led downtown band Bush Tetras alongside a live set by No Wave icon Ikue Mori of DNA and many others. See additional details on website. October 3 and 4 - Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair. The Hometown Fair will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Valley Drive between 15th and 21st Streets as well as at the Joslyn Center (near downtown Manhattan Beach on Valley Drive between 15th Street and Blanche Drive), Live Oak Park, Veterans Park and Dorsey Field. There will be live music on multiple stages, a beer and wine garden, art displays and art/craft vendors, free and paid games, and a wide variety of activities and contests. One of Bach's most emotionally powerful works, the concert will feature baritone soloist Ryan Reithmeier and the chamber orchestra, directed by Alex Guebert. Unless otherwise noted, oncerts will take place at 4 p.m. in the historic sanctuary at St. John's Lutheran Church of Orange, 185 S. Center Street. Child care is available. The Rosemead Fall Fiesta and Dia de Los Muertos celebration will take place from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Rosemead Park, 4343 Encinita Avenue. There will be games, craft and food vendors (fee), live entertainment, children's activities, a drone show at 8 p.m. and more. Admission and entertainment are free, but there may be a fee for some games and attractions. Entertainment will include local performers and the bands Bobby Z and Suave (Latin/Variety). The San Gabriel Dumpling and Beer Fest will take place from 6 - 10 p.m. in the San Gabriel Mission District, 250 S. Mission Drive. The festival is focused around the dumpling, and there will be food and merchandise vendors, a kids' zone, live entertainment, and new interactive brand activations. This month's festival will celebrate Mehregan, one of Iran's oldest festivals marking the harvest season and arrival of autumn. The event will take place from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and will include live music and dance performances and a variety of art activities. The Bowers Museum is located at 2002 N. Main Street. Information: (714) 567-3600 or www.bowers.org. October 3 - Classical Crossroads Concerts: Classical Interludes Classical Crossroads concerts are held at the First Lutheran Church of Torrance, 2900 W. Carson Street (on the south side of Carson just east of Maple). Today's concert will take place at 3 p.m. This program will feature the Eclipse Quartet: Sarah Thornblade and Sara Parkins, violins, Alma Lisa Fernandez, viola, and Maggie Parkins, cello. Tustin Tiller Days features carnival rides, games and food vendors (fee) and free admission and entertainment at Columbus Tustin Park, 17522 Beneta Way. Hours are Friday from 4 - 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon - 8 p.m. The annual Tiller Days Parade will take place Saturday morning at 10 a.m. around Old Town Tustin starting at Main/Pacific. Entertainment at Tiller Days will be on two stages: the community stage and main stage. Community stage acts will include a wide variety of youth/community groups performances throughout the day. Friday main stage entertainment will include Stone Soul (Motown/Soul) from 6 - 8 p.m. and the Springsteen Experience (Bruce Springsteen Tribute) from 9 - 11 p.m.; Saturday bands will include the Fooz Fighters (Foo Fighters Tribute) from 9 - 11 p.m., and Sunday bands will include Sega Genecide (90s/2000s) from 3 - 5 p.m. and Finding Emo OC (Emo Hits) from 6 - 8 p.m. See website for times/full band line-up.
