Fourth of July fireworks shows which are open to the public without any type of associated concerts are listed here. Shows which are part of events with concerts will be included in the concert listings.

BIG BEAR - 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. Fireworks over Big Bear Lake take place begin between 8:45 - 9:15 p.m. on July 4 and last for about 30 - 40 minutes. CARSON - 4th of July Fireworks. The City of Carson is offering residents a free shuttle to watch the fireworks at Dignity Health Sports Park, 18400 Avalon Boulevard, after the LA Galaxy game. Shuttle pick-up begins at 8:30 p.m. at the Carson Event Center North parking lot, 801 E. Carson Street. DANA POINT - 4th of July Fireworks. The fireworks on July 4 will take place at 9 p.m. in the skies over Doheny State Beach. LAGUNA BEACH - City Fireworks Show. The 4th of July city fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. and will take place from Monument Point at Heisler Park. The Monument Point area will be closed all day, and the area of Heisler Park from Myrtle Street to the Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed from 5 p.m. Information: www.lagunabeachcity.net.

LONG BEACH - 4th of July Waterfront Fireworks. The 4th of July fireworks spectacular will take place at the Long Beach waterfront at 9 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from Queensway Bay and can be viewed from Shoreline Village, Rainbow Harbor and Marina Green. MARINA DEL REY - Fourth of July Fireworks. The 20-minute fireworks display will take place at 9 p.m. on July 4. Fireworks are shot from a barge across the Marina'a main channel. Burton Chace Park, 13650 Mindanao Way and Fisherman's Village, 13755 Fiji Way, are prime viewing locations. There will be synchronized music at both locations. RIVERSIDE - Fourth of July Fireworks. The annual 4th of July Fireworks shows will take place at both La Sierra Park (5215 La Sierra Avenue) and at Mt. Rubidoux (Mt. Rubidoux Dr. at 9th Street). Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Public access is not permitted at La Sierra Park or Carlson Dog Park all day, and there is no access to Mr. Rubidoux after the morning after 7 a.m. Information:

SAN BERNARDINO - SummerFest Fireworks. The San Bernardino SummerFest will take place from 5 - 9 p.m. on July 5 on the San Bernardino Valley College campus. Access to parking, vendor areas, food booths, games and fireworks viewing do not require a ticket. Tickets must be purchased to enter the stadium and the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra performance. TORRANCE - 4th of July Fireworks Show. Fireworks will take place at 8:45 p.m. on July 4. Viewing locations are the West Parking Lot, Courthouse, 825 Maple Avenue, and the LA Galaxy Sports Complex, 555 Maple Avenue. Capacity is limited and on a first-come basis. SHAKESPEARE ON THE BLUFF - PERFORMANCES AT LOYOLA MARYMOUNT UNIVERSITY. The Winter's Tale will be performed on three nights at Loyola Marymount University, June 12, 13 and 14 Performances are free, open to the community and will take place from 8 - 10 p.m. on the outdoor Drollinger Family Stage on the LMU campus, 1 LMU Drive. COSTA MESA - TUESDAY NIGHT DANCE AT THE SEGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS Tuesday Night Dance in June: Soulful Grooves.
