September 5 - Fontana Car Show. This NON-CRUISE event takes place on the first Friday of the month from 5 - 9 p.m. at the Fontana Civic Center, 8353 Sierra Avenue. The event includes pre-1979 classics, hot rods and muscle cars, imports and customs, low riders, specialty/exotics and motorcycles. September 20 - La Gran Fiesta: A Hispanic Heritage Celebration. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at La Gran Fiesta from 5 - 9 p.m. at the Miller Park Amphitheater, 17004 Arrow Boulevard. There will be a beer and wine garden, community booths, interactive art activities, artisan vendors, Hispanic food and beverages for sale, and live music and community performances. INDIO

Outdoor Music at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Outdoor music returns to the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Guests must be 18 or over. The Rock Yard is an amphitheater-style arena with two side-by-side stages, and admission is free. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is located at 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway. Two other series, Noches de Fuego on Wednesday and Sunday nights and Country Night on Thursday night, have now been moved inside to LIT. 21+ for entry to LIT. See additional details on website. LAKE ARROWHEAD

September 20, 21, 27 and 28 - Lake Arrowhead Oktoberfest. The Lake Arrowhead Oktoberfest will take place at Waterfront Park at the Lake Arrowhead Village (formerly Lollipop Park, see website for location). Hours are Saturdays from noon - 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon - 5 p.m. Admission is free, but there is a fee for table reservations and food. There is limited free seating at the back of the venue, and those seats are available on a first-come basis only. Parking is free and all ages are welcome. Lake Arrowhead Village Summer Concert Series - All performances (unless otherwise noted) take place from 7 - 9 p.m. at Lake Arrowhead Village, 28200 Highway 189. Reserved seating is available for purchase; free open festival seating is in area behind tables. Festival seating area opens at 10 a.m. the morning of the concerts, but no chairs can be place in line at the gates prior to 6 a.m. Beach chairs and/or blankets are allowed in the festival seating area but not coolers. ONTARIO

September 15 - Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band. The Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band will present a concert titled "Back to Our Roots" at 7:30 p.m. in the Gardiner W. Spring Auditorium located on the Chaffey High School campus, 1245 N. Euclid Avenue. Concert goers are invited to arrive at 7 p.m. for entertainment by The Woodwind Celebration Ensemble in the lobby. September 19 and 20 - Route 66 Crusin' Reunion. The car show event takes place over a two-day period with over 1,000 cars displayed along Euclid Avenue in downtown Ontario, with concerts at Ontario Town Square, 224 N. Euclid Avenue. Friday night headlining band will be George Michael Reborn (George Michael Tribute) at 7 p.m., with a DJ and Emcee from 5 - 7 p.m. The evening will conclude with a drone show at 8:45 p.m. Saturday night headlining artist will be Berlin (Rock) at 7:30 p.m. with an opening performance by Elvia Cadena at 5:30 p.m. There also will be a drone show at 8:45 p.m. Cruisin' Reunion hours are Friday from 2 - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Bring chairs/blankets for the concerts. RANCHO CUCAMONGA

September 11 - Spagnolo 9/11 Memorial Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. The Rancho Cucamonga Fire District and the City of Rancho Cucamonga will present the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Spagnolo 9/11 Memorial Park, 10597 Town Center Drive, at 8:30 a.m. The ribbon-cutting will be followed by the annual 9/11 ceremony beginning at 8:40 a.m. Information: (909) 774-3008 or www.cityofrc.us.

REDLANDS

University of Redlands Performances. - University of Redlands Music Department performances are held in the Memorial Chapel, the Frederick Loewe Performance Hall (FLPH), and/or the Casa Loma Room on the Redlands campus, 1200 E. September 27 - Riverside Art and Music Festival. The Riverside Art and Music Festival will take place from 2 - 9 p.m. at White Park, 3936 Chestnut Street. Bands will include the Riverside Concert Band, Badsoma, Auditory Cortex, The Good Daze and the legendary Voodoo Glow Skulls. SAN BERNARDINO

September 19, 20 and 21 - San Manuel Pow Wow. The San Manuel Pow Wow will return this year to the California State University San Bernardino campus, 5500 University Parkway. Hours will be 5 p.m. - midnight on Friday, 11 a.m. - midnight on Saturday and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday. There will Grand Entries at 8 p.m. on Friday, 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday, plus bird singing and dancing, Native American artists, food vendors and more. September 26 - California Native American Day Celebration. The California Native American Day Celebration will take place from 6 - 9 p.m. at California State University San Bernardino, 5500 University Parkway. The celebration of California Indian culture, heritage and family is open to the public and will include traditional bird songs, music, art and Native American food vendors. TEMECULA

September 11 and 25 - Temecula Sunset Market. The Temecula Sunset Market takes place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 5 - 9 p.m. in Old Town Temecula in front of City Hall at Town Square Park, 41000 Main Street. YUCAIPA

September 27 - Historic Uptown Yucaipa Autumnfest.. The Yucaipa Autumnfest will take place from noon - 9 p.m. in Historic Uptown Yucapia/Yucaipa Performing Arts Center, 12062 California Street. There will be a variety of live performances, a haunted house, a kids' zone, food and merchandise vendors, a beer garden, car show and more.
