Ongoing, Tuesday Nights - Surf City Nights. Surf City Nights, Orange County's largest weekly street fair and farmers market, takes place weekly from 5 - 9 p.m. throughout the year. The event includes over 100 vendors, family-friendly/live music street performances, and activities for children. Wednesdays and Thursdays September 7 - November 9 - Free Admission Nights at Old World Oktoberfest. Old World has been hosting Orange County's largest Oktoberfest since 1977, with chicken dancing, oom pah pah bands, competitions, a 10,000 square foot open air Biergarten and over 60 beers on tap. September 26 - Mid-Autumn Festival at the Great Park. The City of Irvine, in partnership with the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center, will will present the fifth annual Mid-Autumn Festival at the Great Park from 5 - 9:30 p.m. Also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, it is a traditional festival celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian communities. There will be live music and dance performances, cultural exhibits, crafts, specialty food trucks and art demonstrations. ORANGE

August 29, 30 and 31 - Orange International Street Fair. The Orange International Street Fair will take place on Friday from 5 - 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. in the blocks surrounding the Orange traffic circle at Glassell/Chapman Avenue. The event includes multiple blocks of international food and music organized around country themes, including multiple music stages. Please note: this event tends to be VERY crowded, and comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. September 14 - Heartbeat of Mexico Festival. The Heartbeat of Mexico Festival will take place from noon - 7 p.m. on the Chapman University campus, 1 University Drive. September 25, 26, 27 and 28 - Westminster Fall Festival. The Westminster Fall Festival will take place September 25 - 28 at the Westminster Civic Center, 8200 Westminster Boulevard. Hours will be Thursday from 5 - 9 p.m., Friday from 5 - 11 p.m., Saturday from noon - 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon - 9 p.m. Entertainment and admission are free; fee for food/merchandise vendors, beer garden and carnival rides/games. Thursday night is Culture Night, and there will be an embrace aging expo on Saturday from 1 - 4 p.m. and a Dreamers Market on Sunday from noon - 4 p.m. Full entertainment schedule TBA. Nixon Library Family Concert Series - All performances (unless otherwise indicated) are at 2 p.m. at the Nixon Library, 18001 Yorba Linda Boulevard near Imperial Highway.
