CLAREMONT - CLAREMONT FRIDAY NIGHTS LIVE. The Friday night concert series takes place through October at locations in Claremont Village. LOS ANGELES (SOUTH AND EAST) - 6TH ANNUAL LEIMERT PARK JAZZ FESTIVAL. The 4th Annual Leimert Park Jazz Festival will take place from 12:30 - 8:30 p.m. (doors open at 11:30 a.m.) on the rooftop parking deck at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, 3650 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. General admission is free. SAN PEDRO - LIGHT AT THE LIGHTHOUSE FESTIVAL. The Light at the Lighthouse Festival, a Christian music festival, will take place from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Mesa/6th Street in downtown San Pedro. LAKEWOOD - LAKEWOOD PATRIOT DAY CEREMONY. The City of Lakewood invites the public to a flag-lowering ceremony at 6:30 p.m. outside of City Hall, 5050 Clark Avenue. The ceremony will include the presentation of colors, remarks from Lakewood's mayor, a keynote speaker, musical performance and moment of silence.
